Pet Hotel Etiquette

* Always include your Pet at the time you make your Room Reservations. Some Hotels have selected Rooms for Pets.

* Keep your Pets OFF the Furniture or bring a Sheet to cover that chair your Pup must sit in. Some Hotels provide the sheets.

* Do NOT leave your Pets alone in your Room. Some Hotels may allow you to leave your well-behaved Pet alone in the room, if left in a Crate. Please Ask.

* Place the Food & Water Dishes in the Bathroom. The floor is usually tile or a more durable surface, in case you Pet is not the perfect diner.

* Pets are generally NOT allowed in Lobby areas and Restaurants.

* Do NOT let your Pet soil the grounds, removal of waste is mandatory.

* Please keep your dog leashed. People that are afraid of dogs or even people with leashed dogs will greatly appreciate it. Most hotel owners require your dog to be on leash.

* While you are in the room with your dog, place the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door or keep the dead bolt locked. Many housekeepers have been surprised or scared by dogs when entering a room.

* Barking and whining dogs can be disturbing or annoying to hotel neighbors

* Some dogs will settle if they can hear a human voice - try leaving the TV on at low volume.

* Try not to leave your dog for long periods. If you have no choice, make sure you walk him before you go out and leave him in a comfortable bed with his favourite toys.
