in established off-road vehicle use areas, but are not permitted
landward of the use area posts and on designated swimming
beaches.

The seashore is a 56 mile long section of the Outer Banks
running from Ocracoke Inlet on the northeast to Beaufort
Inlet on the southeast. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the

ferry operators), but are not permitted in concession lodgings.
